Paris Hilton: I would love to do a Bollywood film

International celebrity Paris Hilton kept her date with India, as she unfolded her magic at J W Marriott, a suburban hotel in Mumbai, on Saturday.

During her three-day visit, Paris will be promoting her line of handbags and accessories across various locations in the city. Looking stunning in a pink dress, the 30-year blonde beauty made a fashionable entry at the press conference.

Paris greeted the media in desi style as she said, "Namaste India. I am so excited to be here; this is the first time  I am visiting this country." 

She added, "It is such a beautiful place and I am so excited to launch a range of Paris Hilton handbags and accessories in India."

Katrina in Yet Another Yash Raj Flick

There’s no stopping Katrina Kaif nowadays. The London born ‘bony lass’ has been enjoying a rollicking Bollywood ride for the past four years now, and it looks like she is going to have it her way for some more years to come. She’s been bagging some juicy offers of late, and it seems like she is now Yash Raj Films’ most sought after lead lady.

Katrina’s first film under this prestigious production house was New York with John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh which fared well at the B.O and then it was this year’s Mere Brother ki Dulhan which is having a rather good time as far as the collections have to go by. Then, there is Ek Tha Tiger in the making follwed by Yash Chopra’s directorial with Shahrukh Khan which is going to hit the floors sometime in 2012.

If all this was not enough, Katrina has now bagged a role in the upcoming sequel of the prestigious Dhoom franchise, and will be paired opposite Aamir Khan who is going to play the bad guy after John Abraham’s and Hrithik’s stint in the previous two films.

Well, the wait was over and Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut film, with his son Shahid Kapoor in the lead has finally hit the screens? Judging by the overall critical reviews, one would have to say that Mausam has been recieved pretty badly by most critics with the rating being a mere 2/5 by many. So, is the “timeless love story” a mere time waste or can it be watched for the performances of its lead pair and some good music?

‘Rockstar’ Ranbir Kapoor is all praises for Nargis Fakhri!!

Ranbir Kapoor is all ready to romance his newbie co star Nargis Fakhri in the most awaited filmRockstar. News has it that the Jr Kapoor is all praises for his co star.

“Nargis is an amazing actor. She is a big boon to our film. We are lucky to have her on board our film,” Ranbir told reporters during his trip to Delhi and Noida.

“I pray that audiences accept Nargis as this is her first film. I request everyone to be kind to her. It feels really nice to know that people are liking our chemistry on screen,” Ranbir added.

The actor unveiled the poster of Rockstar at the Centrestage mall in Noida. The mall was thronged by thousands of fans who cheered for the Rockstar actor who actually looked like a real rocker in a pair of jeans, green kurta and a jacket.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie is slated for a Nov 11 release.

Ranbir Kapoor performs at Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah!!

Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali visited the Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi on Monday. They were were accompanied by singer Mohit Chauhan and producer Hiren Gandhi.

At the shrine, Ranbir played a jumbo acoustic guitar along with a qawwali troupe, on a Rockstar number composed by A R Rahman. Ranbir plays a rocker in Ali’s upcoming film Rockstar.

The Rockstar team apparently chose this place because the film is about ‘passion for music’ and who better than Amir Khusro to epitomise the true spirit of their movie , they thought..

Ranbir also offered a chadar at the dargah.

Rockstar is slated to release on November 11.

Vidya Balan continues to shoot for ‘Dirty Picture’ despite flu…

Vidya Balan is a true professional. The actress is currently in Hyderabad shooting for a song sequel for the film ‘Dirty Pictures’. Vidya Balan, despite being down with flu, continued to shoot the song with co-actor Naseerudin Shah, and yet did not utter a word.

Says a source, “The song was being shot in a lotus pond and it was on a tight schedule. Filming had to be wrapped up within two to three days, as those were the only dates available.

It required Vidya to stay in the pond for over four to five hours during the sequence.”

Adds the source, “Vidya started feeling ill on the first day itself as she was in water for so long. She developed high fever.

Though director Milan Luthria asked his leading lady to take a breather, she was keen that the shoot continue.”

The producers would have had to face huge losses if in case the shooting was halted. Not just that. The crew who had specially flown down from Mumbai would have also been affected. As a result Vidya did not want the filming to be affected.

Ranbir Kapoor on KBC 5!!

This week’s hot seat for Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 had none other than the very cute Ranbir Kapoor. He took to this platform to promote his upcoming film Rockstar. And trust me, this episode is a must watch.

Making a grand entry with the song ‘Mere Umar Ke Naujawano’ from his dad Rishi Kapoor’s film Karz, Jr Kapoor then went on to play the game. He was super generous in showering praises on the show’s host, Amitabh Bachchan. During the game, for ‘call-a-friend’ lifeline, Ranbir picked up his close buddy, Ayan Mukherjee. He fooled Ayan by imitating Amitabh’s voice.

Ranbir also paid a tribute to his uncle late Shammi Kapoor by dancing to few of his popular numbers from the film Kashmir Ki Kali.

“Three Musketeers” gets a Hindi remake…

The popular novel, “Three Musketeers” which is written by Author Alexandre Dumas’ is all set to become a Bollywood movie.

If buzz is to be believed, It’s going to be Aamir Khan and Priyanka who would be essaying the prominent roles. Reportedly, PVR Pictures are in talks with the distributors of the Hollywood film.

According to a source, “They are considering casting Aamir as the Duke of Buckingham and Priyanka as Milady de Winter, who is one of the antagonists in the film. But the actors to play three musketeers are still not known.”

When Shahrukh Khan lost his cool!!!

Shahrukh Khan often at his best behavior in front of the media. He is one actor who remains calm, cordial and cool with the media. However, it was not the same this time at the music launch of Ra.One.

Now, there was one question that completely spoiled SRK’s jolly mood. He was asked about Priyanka Chopra’s absence at the music launch, despite she making a guest appearance in the film.

Shahrukh literally insulted the reporter in his reply.

“There’s Sanjay Dutt too in the film and even he hasn’t come. I am glad that Sanjay and Priyanka didn’t come nahin toh unhe tumhare sawaalon se sharminda hona padta,” Shahrukh is reported to have said.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, the soon-to-be-parents, were spotted in London, baby shopping for the soon to arrive new family member. Excitement was clearly visible on the couples faces.

On their way back, the duo bumped into Urmila Matondkar at the Mumbai international airport. Urmila was super thrilled to see the couple. The actress congratulated the would be parents.

Actress Sridevi also came across Ash and Abhi at the airport. She wished the couple too.

Thee actor will be taking a two week off for the rehersal so as to match his steps with Katrina Kaif, who is now considered one of the finest dancers in Bollywood.

Ajay and Atul Gogavale, who had composed the music of ‘Singham’, will be composing this item number.

Rumors has it that the number will be similar to that of Amitabh Bachchan’s chartbuster ‘Jhuma Chooma De Dein’ from Mukul Anand’s Hum.

The latest buzz doing the rounds is that Kingfisher hottie, Angela Jonsson will be Salman Khan’s heroine in Sohail Khan’s production ‘Sher Khan’.

However, things are not yet confirmed. Sohail wants a new face for his next and has supposedly finalised Angela for the lead role. If you can recollect, we had reported earlier that the Kingfisher girl was considered to star opposite Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3. However, she failed to bag the role. If she bags the lead role opposite Salman Khan, it would be the best debut she could ask for.

The lady was also in limlight recently, when she was linked with Ranbir Kapoor in a romantic affair. She even confessed to have dated the actor.

Dia Mirza has found her Mr. Rightin her business partner Sahil Sangha.

Well, Dia’s upcoming film Love Breakups Zindagi, is directed by Sahil himself.

It’s been almost a year now, that the couple are seeing each other and the pretty lady confirms the news about her wedding with him by next year.

“Yes, we are dating, and I will marry him soon…may be next year itself!” Dia is quoted as saying by anews daily.

Bollywood Diva Vidya Balanhas finally admitted that she is in a relationship with UTV head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur.  At the same time, ‘The Dirty Picture’ actress declined marriage with Siddharth.
“I am in a very happy space with Siddharth. Yes, I want to get married. I want to be a bride. But I am not married yet,” Vidya has said. Rumor of their alleged affair started doing the rounds when Vidya Balan and Siddharth were spotted on a vacation in Goa."

Just imagine two dashing dudes and the best dancers of Bollywood, come together on one platform! Well, this actually happened. Shahid Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan shared the stage together on Hrithik Roshan’s dance reality show Just Dance.

Well, Shahid Kapoor was the guest off course, he was donned in a black kurta (the same Nagaada Nagaada avatar from Jab We Met), while Hrithik looked terrific in a designer shirt and gray trousers.

Apart from the regular posing together, the duo also gave poses of tribal look, donning dread locked hair wigs. They danced with the contestants too.

Post the show, Shahid Kapoor couldn’t stop praising Hrithik Roshan. he posted on twitter : “Just finished just dance with @iHrithik … The nicest guy n the best dancer I know”

Shahrukh Khan’s chat show, which is hosted by the very bubbly Preity Zinta, will have the Dabangg dude Salman Khan to be the first guest.

Pretty Preity is all set to expose the lesser known side of Salman. The bubbly queen will also share about her having a solid crush on her star friend and that how she went to watch Dabangg, dressed in a burka.
Salman was a sport too. He danced with the actress on the title track of the show and even posed for a make believe film poster titled “Pyaar Mein Band Bajega Halu Halu” and for this speical section Salman dressed as a bandmaster, while Preity as a coy bride.

BODYGUARD Salman beats DABANGG Salman!

The last two Eids have been superb for Salman Khan through WANTED and DABANGG and this year seems to be even bigger. While the gigantic opening of BODYGUARD was a foregone conclusion no one had expected it to be so huge.

In fact BODYGUARD has smashed the opening day record of Salman's 14.50 crore DABANGG by about 5-6 crore. It will be interesting to see if BODYGUARD has also demolished the best ever first day record of DABANGG which stands at 18.50 crore.

Even in the Gulf state of Dubai, BODYGUARD has blown away DABANGG's 7 lakh dirhams record by collecting 11 lakh dirhams, as per early reports.

With the Ganesh Chaturthy festival adding to the weekend, the film can touch a whopping 80-85 crore in just 5 days which may again be more than DABANGG's first week record of 80.75 crore.
